Marketa comes from the market, not a meeting room.
Marketa began at a weekend market, one folding table and a crate of preserves. Between us we have sold jam, cut flowers, hot dumplings and vintage records, and every stall taught the same lesson: when the payment kit is heavy or fiddly, the queue melts away and the good hours are wasted.
So we made something light. Marketa rides on the Square platform and does one thing well: it puts a seller a tap away from getting paid and a tap away from the count. Take the card, hand over the goods, glance at the day. No tour, no jargon, no counter to build.
Light beats heavy. A tool a helper can learn between customers beats one with a booklet. And a seller belongs chatting to the crowd, not squinting at settings. Those three beliefs shape every screen we ship.
Sellers find us on the words they type. Maybe a square login, maybe a square log in, a square sign in, or the longer square login dashboard. Some write squareup login from memory; others just want to square up at pack-down. Whatever the words, we open the same square dashboard, fast.
